CARBURETTER RECONDITIONING
Southern Carburetters & Injection produce some of the finest reconditioned carburetters in the country. This is shown by the number of Classic Car Specialists that choose us to recondition their custmers carburetters. We recondition most of the following; SU, Zenith, Solex, Weber and Dellorto. We begin by stripping the carburetter down to the last nut and bolt. We then ultrasonically clean them, then give them a gentle blast clean, reface the flanges to make them flat again. After that we sort the spindle wear and reassemble with all new or plated parts, in the case of an SU that would include new jet, metering needle and needle valve. To finish the job off we can polish the dashpots if requested at the time of order.
